ROLLING TRAVEL
The company began to operate as a travel wholesaler in 1998, in the Province of Córdoba. Rolling Travel is operationally organized in different areas specializing in specific products and services.
Our strategy is focused on being different, by developing superior products and services, through a Quality Management System that allows for a fast adjustment to market opportunities, the introduction of new products and the continued development of existing ones, as well as the continual assessment of possible new markets. In 2007, our Quality Management System was certified by ISO 9001:2000, and we became the first Argentinean Travel Wholesaler outside the capital city to achieve such a prestigious certification. The scope of the certification covers the design, advice and provision of wholesale tourist services, both inbound and outbound, for national, regional and international destinations.
In 2004, Rolling Travel took on the concession of Talampaya National Park excursions, in the Province of La Rioja, devoted to rescuing and supporting the region’s cultural and historical values, while contributing to natural resource preservation, with a view to providing visitors with a high-quality recreational service. The tours provided include visits to Talampaya Canyon and the area known as Los Cajones.
Rolling Travel also contributes to the development of tourist activities in towns around Talampaya National Park, supporting the local economies through investment and involvement in selected associations and events. We also take part in the work of the communities, as a way of boosting the cooperative spirit of the sector and helping develop the general wellbeing of our human resources at the National Park.
Furthermore, Rolling Travel is one of the first National Park concession holders to ever implement an Environmental Management System following ISO 14001:2004 standards. The system requirements include an organized infrastructure, planned actions, practices and procedures, responsibility and dedication of human and financial resources. It also requires implementing, reviewing and maintaining an environmental policy stating the company goals and principles as regards its environmental performance, as well as providing an action plan, with specific environmental objectives, targets and programs.
